With the uncertainly that the federal government shutdown has created for many in our community, the Needham Community Council would like to extend an invitation to any Needham resident who might benefit from our services…may it be for a single visit or longer.
The Council can help with a variety of transportation issues and our Food Pantry is available to help anyone in need of food items for their Needham household…no appointment or paperwork is required at your first visit. The Pantry is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. The Council will be closed Monday, January 21 for MLK Day.
We hope to wake up each day to hear that the shutdown/furlough of employees has ended, but as we write this letter on Monday, January 14th we are now at day 24 and counting…please know that the Needham Community Council’s mission is to help our Needham neighbors throughout the year.
