When Can You Shop at the Council Food Pantry?
If your last name begins with A-K: 1st or 2nd Monday, Wednesday or Saturday of the month.
If your last name begins with L-Z: 3rd or 4th Monday, Wednesday or Saturday of the month.
Note: You may come in ANY Monday, Wednesday and/or Saturday for bread and other select items that may be available.
Households that contain children under the age of 18 have the opportunity to shop two times per month for a regular supply of groceries.
To best meet the needs of those we serve, the Council Food Pantry uses a ‘client choice’ system. This provides you with the freedom to select your own items, based on individual and family needs. Instead of receiving a prepacked or standard bag of groceries, you will shop – assisted by a food pantry volunteer – by different food groups for the items you choose to select.
