Any Needham resident, over age 18, who needs transportation to a local medical appointment can call the Council to request a “curb-to-curb” ride at no charge.
Volunteer based transportation has been provided for over 25 years; now….if a volunteer driver is unavailable…the Council will provide a fee-based ride through Uber and/or Lyft paid for with Council funds and supported by a grant from BID Hospital-Needham.
Rides may be requested to local hospitals, including BID Hospital-Needham, Newton-Wellesley, doctor’s offices, physical therapy appointments, labs for blood work, etc. in the Needham, Newton and Wellesley areas. We are not able to provide transportation into Boston or Brookline.

All raffle ticket purchases will be confirmed in writing; by email or snail mail.
Raffle tickets are not deductible.
Raffle ends at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 or when all tickets have been sold.
Raffle drawing will be held online at www.random.org at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
Raffle winner will be contacted directly by telephone on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 between 1-5 p.m.
Event Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Needham Community Council office on
Wednesday, September 7th , 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
or by special arrangement with the Council office.
